All customers are recommended to apply GI patch.
An error during disk resync may cause the disk group to be dismounted by ASM and cause database downtime.
- ASM disk group is dismounted unexpectedly after an i/o error happens during disk resync.
- All database instances using the dismounted ASM disk group are terminated.

Affected: disk groups with Normal or Flex redundancy and two regular failgroups plus a quorum failgroup.
Not affected: disk groups with with Normal or Flex redundancy and more than two regular failgroups.
Not affected: disk groups with High or Extended redundancy.
