Summary
On Oracle Linux 8, the Node Update script may fail.
Symptoms
Applying Node Update fails with the following error:

Affected Versions
The following RPM version is affected:
rpm-4.14.3-31.0.2.el8.x86_64
To determine the installed RPM version, please run:
$ rpm -q rpm
Newer RPM versions are unaffected.
Root Cause
There is a bug in the Oracle Linux version of the RPM package.
Resolution
FlashGrid was working with Oracle to identify a permanent fix. Oracle pulled the problem version rpm-4.14.3-31.0.2.el8.x86_64 from the repositories and released newer RPM versions that have the bug fixed, e.g. rpm-4.14.3-31.0.3.el8.x86_64.rpm and rpm-4.14.3-32.0.1.el8_10.x86_64.rpm.
If you have the affected RPM version but did not run Node Update yet:
Update to a newer version, e.g. rpm-4.14.3-31.0.3.el8.x86_64.rpm, and then run Node Update.
